Would you like to get paid to help people live their best lives, through bicycles? We are a community-minded bicycle shop based in Providence, RI, and we are looking for a few good humans to join our team. MUST BE DETAIL-ORIENTED
From performing routine service work, to discussing bicycle technology and placing special orders, to communicating with other team members, we would be lost without organized, focused staff.
MUST HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER-SERVICE SKILLS
It can be challenging to think on your feet and maintain composure on the busiest days, while addressing the needs of all kinds of riders. Even small interactions, and purchases, must be treated with equal importance.
MUST HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY
During the busiest months, we are open seven days a week, and we need team members who are available to work during the busiest times, and cover shifts for others when they get sick days. We perform every day the shop is open, so it’s a bonus if you can shift between sales and service.
MORE THAN SALES AND SERVICE
We do our best to foster an inclusive environment, where it’s not enough to be able to explain the difference between the needs of a bicycle commuter and a randonneur. All members of the community should feel welcome in our bike shop. We have sponsored teams and races, hosted free classes, and led group rides, and we’re looking for like-minded people who understand what the community needs, and how the bicycle industry is changing.
