Brooks B17 Standard Saddle

The B17 is Brooks' flagship saddle, intended for the touring and trekking cyclist, and mtb use. This model has been on the market for over 100 years, first introduced in the 1890s, and has survived virtually unchanged, and has firmly established itself as the saddle of choice for long distance cyclists.

The B17 saddle is available in shapes for both gents (the B17) and ladies (the B17 S). The Standard models feature black steel rails and steel rivets. The B17 Special features copper plated steel metalwork, and both the B17 Special and the Titanium also feature hand hammered copper rivets.
