INTERNAL GEARING

An internally-geared hub means your shifting is protected from the elements for improved reliability and smoother gear changes. Internal gearing also allows for shifting when you're at a complete stop, unlike conventional shifting systems, so if you roll up to a stop sign in the wrong gear, just give the shifter an easy twist to start out rolling in the right gear.
